Job Summary

We are looking for a dedicated and responsible Pharmacist to join our hospital pharmacy team. The candidate will be responsible for dispensing medications, maintaining pharmacy records, ensuring proper storage of medicines, and providing medication-related support to patients and healthcare professionals.

Key Responsibilities

- Dispense medicines and medications as per the doctor's prescription.
- Verify prescriptions for accuracy and ensure appropriate dispensing.
- Explain medication dosage, usage, and precautions to patients.
- Maintain proper stock, expiry, and inventory records.
- Monitor and maintain adequate medicine stock levels.
- Ensure proper storage and handling of medicines.
- Maintain pharmacy registers and documentation.
- Follow hospital pharmacy protocols and applicable pharmacy regulations.
- Coordinate with doctors, nurses, and other healthcare professionals.




- Ensure cleanliness and proper maintenance of the pharmacy area.

Educational Qualification

- Diploma in Pharmacy (D.Pharm) / Bachelor of Pharmacy (B.Pharm).
- Must possess valid Pharmacy Council registration.

Experience

- Freshers to 1+ year of experience.
- Hospital pharmacy experience will be an added advantage.

Required Skills

- Good communication and interpersonal skills.
- Basic knowledge of medicines and drug classifications.
- Accuracy in dispensing medications.
- Good inventory and stock management skills.
- Ability to work in shifts.
- Responsible, disciplined, and patient-friendly approach
