We are looking for an experienced Barge Engineer with a strong background in barge construction to lead and supervise construction activities, manage the work team and ensure quality completion of projects.

Key Responsibilities

- Supervise and manage barge construction from the initial stage through to final completion.
- Read and interpret technical plans, drawings and construction specifications.
- Provide clear work instructions to the construction team.
- Lead and manage welders, ensuring proper joints and quality workmanship.
- Monitor construction progress and ensure projects meet deadlines.
- Prepare Bills of Quantities (BOQs) based on technical drawings.
- Oversee plumbing and electrical wiring work during barge construction.
- Coordinate with team members to maintain construction quality and project standards.

Requirements & Qualifications





- Minimum 3–5 years of engineering experience in barge construction.
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and plans.
- Experience managing construction teams and supervising welders.
- Knowledge of welding quality, proper joints, plumbing and electrical wiring.
- Ability to oversee barge construction from start to finish.
- Fluent spoken and written English.
- Solid leadership, communication and team management skills.
