Our MEP (Mechanical, Electrical and Plumbing) contracting company in Mauritius is currently looking for a General Manager to overview the day to day operation.

Candidate Profile

A suitably qualified Mechanical or Electrical Engineer with proven senior management experience in MEP contracting, solid technical and commercial knowledge, and the ability to lead teams and deliver profitable projects. Strong leadership, communication, planning and financial management skills are essential

Key Responsibilities

- Take overall responsibility for business operations, profitability and growth.
- ⁠Lead tendering, estimating, business development and contract negotiations.
- Oversee projects from award through procurement, installation, testing,



commissioning and handover.
- Ensure projects meet agreed budgets, programmes, technical requirements, quality and safety standards.
- Manage project costs, cash flow, payment applications, collections, variations and final accounts.
- Coordinate with clients, consultants, main contractors, suppliers and subcontractors.
- Recruit, lead and develop the engineering, commercial, site and maintenance teams.
- Oversee maintenance contracts, after-sales service and customer satisfaction.
- Report to the directors on financial performance, project progress, risks and corrective actions.

Pay: ₹150,000.00 - ₹200,000.00 per month
