Job Summary
We are looking for a qualified and experienced MD Diabetologist to diagnose, treat and manage patients with diabetes and related metabolic disorders. The ideal candidate should have solid clinical knowledge, excellent patient counselling skills and experience in providing comprehensive diabetes care.
Key Responsibilities
- Diagnose and manage patients with diabetes and related metabolic disorders.
- Develop and monitor individualized treatment plans.
- Provide consultations on diabetes management, diet, lifestyle modifications and preventive care.
- Monitor patient progress and modify treatment plans as required.
- Maintain accurate medical records and ensure quality patient care.
- Coordinate with other medical specialists for comprehensive patient management.
- Educate patients and their families about diabetes control and long-term management.
- Provide guidance on preventing and managing diabetes-related complications.
Eligibility & Requirements
- MD / DNB in Diabetology or Endocrinology is mandatory, subject to qualification verification.
- Relevant clinical experience in diabetes management is preferred.
- Strong knowledge of diabetes treatment, metabolic disorders and associated complications.
- Excellent patient counselling and communication skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively with healthcare professionals.
- Strong clinical decision-making and patient-management abilities.
Preferred Candidate Profile
- Candidates with previous experience at Dr. Mohan's Diabetes Specialities Centre or Dr. Ramachandran's Diabetes Hospitals, Chennai will be given preference.
- Candidates with expertise in comprehensive diabetes care and long-term patient management are preferred.
Compensation
No salary bar. Compensation will be decided based on the candidate's qualifications, current/last CTC, clinical experience and interview performance.
