Job Title: Shopify Growth Manager – SEO, GEO & AEO

About the Role

We are looking for a results-driven Shopify Growth Manager who can take ownership of our Shopify website and drive growth through SEO, AEO (Answer Engine Optimization), and GEO (Generative Engine Optimization).

The ideal candidate should have hands-on experience in Shopify website management, e-commerce SEO, and organic growth strategies, along with an understanding of how AI-powered search platforms are changing online discovery.

We are looking for someone who can combine technical knowledge, analytical thinking, and practical execution to improve website visibility, traffic, and conversions.

Key Responsibilities1. Shopify Website Management & Growth

- Independently manage and optimize our Shopify website.
- Manage product listings, collections, categories, and website content.
- Optimize product pages and collection pages for search visibility and conversions.
- Improve website structure, navigation, and user experience.
- Identify opportunities to improve website performance and conversion rates.
- Manage Shopify apps, integrations, and basic theme customizations.
- Monitor website performance and implement growth strategies.

2. SEO & Organic Growth

- Conduct keyword research and competitor analysis.
- Develop and implement on-page, off-page, and technical SEO strategies.
- Optimize product pages, collection pages, meta titles, descriptions, headings, and URLs.
- Improve internal linking, website structure, and indexing.
- Work on technical SEO, website speed, and mobile optimization.




- Monitor keyword rankings, organic traffic, and search visibility.
- Identify opportunities to improve Google rankings and organic revenue.

3. GEO – Generative Engine Optimization

- Improve brand visibility across AI-powered search platforms.
- Optimize website content for platforms such as ChatGPT, Perplexity, Gemini, and Google AI Overviews.
- Implement strategies to improve brand discoverability in AI-generated answers.
- Develop content structures that support AI search visibility.
- Work on entity SEO, topical authority, and brand mentions.
- Track emerging AI search trends and identify growth opportunities.

4. AEO – Answer Engine Optimization

- Optimize website content to answer relevant user search queries.
- Improve content structure for featured snippets and answer-based search results.
- Optimize FAQs and conversational search queries.
- Implement schema markup and structured data.
- Improve content relevance, clarity, and search intent alignment.
- Focus on increasing visibility across search engines and answer engines.

5. Analytics & Performance Tracking

- Monitor website performance using Google Analytics 4 and Google Search Console.
- Track organic traffic, keyword rankings, impressions, clicks, conversions, and revenue.
- Analyze website performance and identify growth opportunities.
- Prepare regular reports and performance insights.




- Make data-driven decisions to improve website growth.

Skills & Requirements

- Hands-on experience with Shopify website management.
- Strong understanding of SEO and e-commerce growth strategies.
- Knowledge of AEO and GEO.
- Experience with keyword research and competitor analysis.
- Familiarity with Google Analytics 4 and Google Search Console.
- Knowledge of tools such as Ahrefs, SEMrush, Ubersuggest, or similar.
- Understanding of schema markup and structured data.
- Basic knowledge of HTML, CSS, and Shopify theme customization is an advantage.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to independently manage projects and take ownership of website growth.

Preferred Qualifications

- 1–3 years of experience in Shopify management, SEO, or e-commerce growth.
- Previous experience managing Shopify or D2C websites.
- Experience improving organic traffic, search rankings, and conversions.
- Understanding of AI search optimization and emerging SEO trends.
- Experience working with e-commerce brands.

Salary & Employment Details

- Salary: ₹20,000–₹30,000 per month, depending on experience, skills, and overall fit.

- Monday to Saturday working schedule.
