Layer 1 Skills:
- Wireless Standard Experience: Practical experience with 3GPP (LTE, 5G)
- Programming Languages:
- C/C++: Essential for high-performance, low-level development.
- Intel FlexRAN Layer 1 architecture:
- Hands-on experience developing with Intel FlexRAN software architecture.
- Writing highly optimized software using Intel AVX2 and AVX-512 vector instruction sets to accelerate heavy signal-processing workloads.
- Module Development & Prototyping: Ability to build core components and quickly demonstrate working concepts.
- Physical Layer Design & Development: Proven track record in designing and implementing recent features at the PHY layer (e.g., modulation, coding, MIMO, beamforming).
- Multi-core Environment: Experience in optimizing and debugging code for parallel processing architectures, common in modern base stations and user equipment
- Education: Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, Telecommunications, or a related field.
- Experience: 7+ years of experience in wireless L1 software development.
