Role Description This is a contract, on-site role for a Chartered Accountant specialized in SAP FICO, based in Mumbai. The professional will be responsible for configuring and maintaining SAP FICO modules, including General Ledger, Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, Asset Accounting, and Controlling, in line with client requirements. Day-to-day tasks include performing financial accounting and reporting, supporting monthly and yearly closing activities,



and ensuring accurate integration of finance data across SAP modules. The role involves analyzing business processes, troubleshooting SAP FICO issues, preparing documentation, and collaborating with client stakeholders to optimize financial workflows and compliance. The Chartered Accountant will work directly at client premises as assigned through the Long Shot platform, delivering high-quality, assignment-based services within agreed timelines.
Qualifications

- Strong SAP FICO expertise, including configuration, testing, and support for core finance and controlling modules.
- Chartered Accountant (CA) qualification with solid grounding in financial accounting, reporting, taxation, and compliance.
- Experience in financial process mapping, business analysis, and translating requirements into effective SAP solutions.
- Proficiency in MS Excel and common business tools for data analysis, reconciliations, and financial modeling.
- Ability to work on-site with client teams in Mumbai, manage multiple assignments, and deliver within agreed deadlines.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and documentation skills with attention to accuracy and regulatory standards.
- Explicit, professional communication skills for interacting with finance, operations, and IT stakeholders.
- Prior experience in consulting, audit, or ERP implementation environments is an advantage.
