Role Description The Collections Manager is a full-time, on-site role based in Raipur, responsible for managing and overseeing the loan collections process across multiple product lines. The role involves monitoring overdue accounts, designing and executing collection strategies, and guiding the collections team to meet recovery targets while maintaining compliance with company policies and regulatory requirements. Day-to-day tasks include reviewing portfolio performance, prioritizing collection activities, coordinating with branch staff, and resolving complex customer issues in a professional and ethical manner. The Collections Manager will also prepare regular reports on collection status, recommend process improvements, and collaborate with other departments to enhance credit quality and customer experience.



This position requires consistent in office presence to supervise field operations and support team members in meeting collection objectives.
Qualifications

- Strong knowledge of loan products (auto, home, business, personal, education, and related retail loans) and collections practices, preferably within the financial services sector.
- Experience in credit risk assessment, delinquency management, and portfolio monitoring, with the ability to interpret data and identify trends.
- Leadership and team management skills, including experience supervising collections or recovery teams and driving performance against targets.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and conflict-resolution abilities, with a customer-focused approach and commitment to ethical collection practices.
- Proficiency in using MIS tools, spreadsheets, and collection management systems to track accounts and generate actionable reports.
- Strong organizational and time-management skills, with the ability to prioritize workload and manage multiple cases simultaneously.
- Bachelor's degree in finance, business, commerce, or a related field; a postgraduate qualification or relevant professional certification is an advantage.
- Familiarity with regulatory and compliance requirements in lending and collections within the Indian financial services environment.
- Ability to work on-site in Raipur, conduct field visits as needed, and collaborate effectively with branch operations and senior management.
