– Fluid Handler / Coolant Management Technician Position: Fluid Handler / Coolant Management Technician

Location:
Customer Site at Peenya, Dabaspet, Nelamangala, Bidadi, Dodaballapur Employment Type: Direct Contract Reporting To: Site In-charge / Customer Service Engineer / CPC Technical Manager Role Overview The Fluid Handler will be responsible for day-to-day management of metalworking fluids, coolants, and other industrial lubricants at the customer site. The role ensures proper handling, monitoring, and maintenance of fluids to achieve consistent machining performance, tool life, and workplace safety.

Key Responsibilities
· Coolant Monitoring & Management o Daily monitoring of coolant concentration, pH, tramp oil, and microbial growth. o Adjustment of concentration levels using refractometer and other standard tools. o Skimming tramp oil and ensuring clean sumps. o Regular documentation of fluid condition and consumption.
· Fluid Handling & Housekeeping o Refilling, topping-up, and replacing fluids in machines as per schedule. o Proper disposal of used fluids and swarf as per customer/EHS guidelines. o Maintaining cleanliness around sumps, tanks, and machine areas.
· Inventory & Reporting o Monitoring stock levels of coolants, lubricants, and related consumables.



o Recording daily fluid usage and submitting reports to supervisor/customer. o Assisting in planning for replenishment of fluids and consumables.
· Safety & Compliance o Following all customer site safety policies, PPE usage, and secure chemical handling practices. o Ensuring compliance with CPC/customer EHS standards for fluid management. Qualifications & Skills
· ITI / Diploma (Mechanical or relevant trade) preferred.
· 1–3 years’ experience in coolant/fluid handling or shop-floor maintenance (freshers may also be considered with training).
· Basic understanding of machining processes and industrial safety practices.
· Familiarity with refractometer use, sump cleaning, and coolant mixing desirable.
· Ability to maintain records and communicate effectively with customer teams. Key Attributes

· Based at customer premises.

Working hours
as per customer shift schedule. (9 AM to 6 PM)
· Contract role – renewable based on performance and customer requirement.
