Job Description – Sales Executive (Life Science Instruments)
Position: Sales executive – Life Science Instruments Experience: 2–3 Years Qualification: B.Sc. (Biotechnology) or M.Sc. (Biotechnology) preferably with an MBA or PG Diploma in Marketing

Key Responsibilities :
Promote and sell Life Science instruments and related products to research institutes, universities, hospitals and other relevant customers.

Identify and develop new customers and business opportunities within the assigned territory.

- Generate leads through regular market visits, customer interactions, references and other business development activities.

- Understand customer requirements and recommend suitable products and solutions.- Prepare and submit quotations, technical proposals, budgetary offers, and tender-related documents.

- Follow up regularly with customers to convert enquiries and quotations into orders.

- Develop and maintain strong relationships with key customers, scientists, researchers & purchase departments

- Monitor upcoming projects, budgets, tenders, and procurement opportunities in the assigned market.





- Coordinate with the service, and internal sales teams to ensure timely support to customers.

- Maintain accurate records of customer visits, enquiries, quotations, sales opportunities, and competitor information.

- Submit weekly sales reports, activity reports, and order projections to the reporting manager.

- Achieve assigned sales targets and contribute towards the overall growth of the organization.

Desired Skills and Competencies

Good knowledge of Biotechnology and Life Science applications.

- Strong communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.

- Ability to understand technical products and explain their applications to customers.- Valuable negotiation and follow-up skills.

- Self-motivated, proactive, and willing to travel extensively within the assigned territory.

- Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively with a sales team.- Basic knowledge of government and institutional procurement procedures and tender processes.
