• Be part of a team building a mainline-first Linux BSP for a high-performance, multipurpose SoC — powering IoT, robotics, industrial, and intelligent compute platforms.
• You will work across the full stack: SoC bring-up, Linux kernel drivers, multimedia middleware, AI acceleration, and multi-distro OS delivery (Yocto, Debian/Ubuntu).
• Your patches will go upstream. Your name will be in the Linux kernel. Your code will run on production devices globally.
• Enable and upstream Linux kernel drivers for SoC peripherals and platform features
• Perform SoC bring-up: Device Tree authoring, clock/power/GPIO/regulator initialization, and bootloader integration
• Develop drivers across key subsystems:
o Display (DRM/KMS)
o Camera (V4L2/ISP)
o Audio (ASoC/ALSA)
o Video Codec (VPU)
o GPU (DRM/Adreno)
o Connectivity (Wi-Fi 7 / BT / 5G)
• Work on power management (RPMH, CPUFreq, devfreq, runtime PM) and thermal management
• Build GStreamer multimedia pipelines and integrate edge AI multimedia SDKs
• Develop and maintain Yocto and Debian/Ubuntu ARM64 builds and CI/CD pipelines.
Should Have
• Strong hands-on experience in Linux kernel driver development
• Experience with ARM64 embedded platforms and SoC bring-up
• Ability to write, test, and submit kernel patches upstream
• Deep expertise or active contribution in Linux kernel subsystems
• Experience driving architecture for current SoC platform enablement
• Active engagement with LKML, subsystem mailing lists, or open-source communities
