Job Description – PeopleSoft Technical Developer (HCM)

Job Summary

We are looking for an experienced PeopleSoft Technical Developer with HCM expertise and hands-on experience in PeopleTools 8.5x/8.6x, PeopleCode, Python, SQL, and Oracle Database. The ideal candidate should have strong experience in PeopleSoft application development, integrations, administration, performance tuning, migration, and production support.

Mandatory Skills

Key Responsibilities

· Develop, customize, and maintain PeopleSoft HCM applications based on business requirements.

· Write and maintain PeopleCode, Application Engine programs, SQL queries, and Component Interfaces.

· Create and modify PeopleSoft pages, components, records, fields, menus, file layouts, and PS Queries.

· Develop and support integrations using Integration Broker, REST APIs, SOAP Web Services, XML/JSON, SFTP, and file-based interfaces.

· Work on PeopleSoft administration, including PeopleTools and PIA configuration, setting setup, domain management, and security administration.

· Troubleshoot application issues, perform root-cause analysis, resolve defects, and provide production support.

· Perform Oracle SQL/PLSQL development, query optimization, and database performance tuning.





· Support PeopleSoft migrations, upgrades, patching, and object deployments using Change Assistant, CAPI, and change packages.

· Develop Python scripts to automate data processing, file handling, integrations, and operational activities.

· Support CI/CD and deployment automation using Git, Jenkins, shell scripting, or PowerShell.

· Monitor application performance, analyze logs and caches, and support backup and recovery activities.
