• Strong hands-on React and Node.js development.
• API design and integration for customer-facing applications and services.
• Practical experience using GitHub Copilot or a comparable AI coding assistant; GitHub Copilot is preferred for this role.
• Ability to formulate effective prompts and provide useful codebase and requirements context.
• Robust code-review, debugging, and testing skills, including the ability to verify and improve AI-generated output.
• Experience guiding engineering practices or mentoring developers. Responsibilities Lead implementation across React customer journeys and Node.js services/APIs.
• Set team practices for supplying coding assistants with relevant repository, requirements, design, and test context.
• Coach developers on effective prompts and AI-supported prototyping (“vibe coding”), followed by code review, testing, and hardening.
• Use GitHub Copilot to support implementation, refactoring, test creation, debugging, and documentation.
• Review AI-generated code for correctness, security, maintainability, accessibility, performance, and alignment with architecture and API contracts.
• Guide integration with AWS Cognito, ODL, RSA, and approved enterprise services as assigned.
• Support integration testing, UAT, defect resolution, production readiness, and hypercare.
• Reinforce approved security and privacy practices when using AI tools; do not submit credentials, customer data, or restricted information to unapproved tools. Qualifications

• OIDC/SAML federation or enterprise integration experience.
• Experience applying AI coding tools to test generation, refactoring, debugging, and technical documentation.
