16–20 Years Employment Type: Full time Work Mode: Onsite – Chennai Joining: Immediate Joiners Preferred Job Summary We are looking for an experienced Azure Databricks Solution Architect with 16–20 years of overall IT experience and strong expertise in designing, architecting, and implementing enterprise-scale data platforms using Microsoft Azure and Azure Databricks. The ideal candidate should have extensive experience in cloud data architecture, modern data engineering, lakehouse architecture, data integration, ETL/ELT pipelines, and enterprise data platform modernization. This role requires an experienced technical leader who can own end-to-end architecture, drive technology decisions, lead engineering teams, and deliver scalable, secure, high-performance data solutions.

Key Responsibilities
• Define and lead end-to-end data architecture using Azure Databricks and Microsoft Azure.
• Design enterprise-scale Lakehouse and Medallion architectures (Bronze, Silver, Gold).
• Architect and implement data engineering solutions using Azure Databricks, Apache Spark, PySpark, and Delta Lake.
• Design scalable ETL/ELT pipelines and complex data integration frameworks.
• Drive Azure cloud architecture, data platform modernization, and migration initiatives.
• Establish data governance, security, access controls, and compliance standards.
• Implement performance optimization, workload management, and cost optimization strategies.
• Integrate Azure services such as Azure Data Factory, ADLS Gen2,



Azure Synapse Analytics, and Microsoft Entra ID.
• Provide architectural guidance, technical leadership, and mentorship to engineering teams.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to translate business requirements into technical architecture and implementation roadmaps. Required Technical Skills
• Extensive experience in Microsoft Azure cloud architecture.
• Strong expertise in Azure Databricks and enterprise data platform architecture.
• Hands-on experience with Apache Spark, PySpark, SQL, and Delta Lake.
• Strong knowledge of Lakehouse and Medallion architecture.
• Experience with Azure Data Factory, ADLS Gen2, and Azure Synapse Analytics.
• Expertise in data modeling, data warehousing, ETL/ELT, and data integration.
• Knowledge of data governance, security, RBAC, and performance optimization.
• Experience designing highly scalable, reliable, and cost-efficient data solutions.
• Strong technical leadership, stakeholder management, and architecture documentation skills. Candidate Requirements

• Significant experience in Azure Data Engineering and Solution/Data Architecture.
• Proven experience designing enterprise-grade Azure Databricks solutions.
• Strong architectural decision-making and technical leadership capabilities.
• Must be available to work onsite in Chennai.
