Role Description The Interventional Cardiologist will provide comprehensive cardiovascular care, including outpatient consultations, inpatient management, and emergency cardiac services. Day-to-day responsibilities include conducting clinical assessments, interpreting diagnostic tests, performing interventional procedures in the cath lab (such as angiography and angioplasty), and collaborating with multidisciplinary teams to optimize patient outcomes. The role involves supervising and guiding junior medical staff, participating in case discussions, and contributing to quality improvement and clinical protocols within the cardiology unit. The Interventional Cardiologist is expected to maintain accurate medical records,

• Candidates should possess strong foundational skills in Medicine, with thorough clinical assessment and patient management capabilities.
• Candidates should possess advanced expertise in Cardiology, including the diagnosis and treatment of a broad spectrum of cardiovascular conditions.
• Candidates should possess hands-on proficiency in Cath Lab practices, including invasive diagnostics and safe procedural workflows.
• Candidates should possess specialized Interventional and Interventional Cardiology skills, with experience in percutaneous coronary interventions and related procedures.
• Relevant postgraduate qualifications such as DM or DNB in Cardiology (or equivalent) from a recognized institution.
• Valid medical registration and eligibility to practice as a cardiologist in the region, with a clean skilled record.
• Strong clinical decision-making, communication, and teamwork skills, with a commitment to ethical, patient-centered care in a charitable setting.
• Experience in a multispeciality or tertiary care hospital environment and willingness to participate in on-call and emergency duties.
