Job Description - Deputy Manager / Senior Manager - TA Business (AIF & Mutual Fund Operations) Location: GIFT City
Department: Transfer Agency (TA) / Fund Operations We are seeking experienced professionals for Deputy Manager and Senior Manager positions in TA Business Operations. The role involves managing end-to-end investor servicing, transaction processing, fund administration support, regulatory compliance, and stakeholder management for AIF and Mutual Fund operations. Key Responsibilities • Oversee end-to-end processing of subscriptions, redemptions, switches, transfers, capital calls, and distributions for AIF and Mutual Fund schemes. • Manage investor onboarding, KYC/AML review, FATCA/CRS compliance, and documentation. • Ensure accurate maintenance of investor records and transaction registers. • Monitor daily operational activities and ensure adherence to SLAs and regulatory requirements. • Liaise with Fund Managers, Custodians, Trustees, Distributors, Auditors, and Investors. • Review transaction reconciliations and resolve operational exceptions. • Prepare and review MIS, operational reports, and regulatory submissions. • Drive process improvements, automation initiatives, and operational efficiency. • Ensure compliance with IFSCA, FATCA/CRS, AML/CFT, and other applicable regulatory guidelines governing AIFs and Fund Management Entities in GIFT City. • Handle escalations and provide resolutions for complex investor and operational issues. • Lead, mentor, and manage team members to achieve operational excellence.



Preferred Background • Experience in AIF Operations, Mutual Fund Operations, Transfer Agency, Fund Administration, Investor Services, or Asset Management Companies (AMCs). • Robust understanding of subscription, redemption, capital call, distribution, and investor servicing processes. • Experience in managing operational teams and stakeholder relationships. • Prior experience in GIFT City AIF Operations, including onboarding, capital calls, drawdowns, distributions, investor servicing, and regulatory compliance. • Exposure to Retail Mutual Fund Transfer Agency Operations, including subscription, redemption, switch, SIP, STP, SWP, and investor servicing processes.
