Role Description The Show Caller is responsible for overseeing the live execution of events and shows, ensuring that all cues, transitions, and elements run smoothly and according to the production plan. This contract role is based on-site in Mumbai and involves coordinating closely with production teams, technical crews, artists, and backstage staff to keep the show running on time and to specification. Day-to-day tasks include studying show scripts and cue sheets, calling lighting, sound, video, and stage cues, managing last-minute changes, and maintaining clear communication over comms systems during rehearsals and live performances. The Show Caller also supports pre-show briefings,



risk awareness, and post-show debriefs to improve future events and maintain high-quality standards.

Qualifications

- Experience in show calling, stage management, or live event production, with strong familiarity with cue sheets, rundowns, and technical terminology.
- Ability to coordinate effectively with technical teams, backstage crew, and performers, maintaining calm and clear communication under time pressure.
- Strong organizational and time-management skills, with attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple moving parts during live events.
- Comfort using communication devices and basic production equipment; familiarity with audio, lighting, and video workflows is an advantage.
- Proven problem-solving skills, adaptability, and the capacity to make quick decisions in quick-paced, high-stakes environments.
- Professional demeanor, reliability, and willingness to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and extended event days.
- Prior experience in event management or entertainment industries, particularly in Mumbai or similar markets, is preferred.
- Relevant education or training in event management, performing arts, media, or related fields is beneficial but not mandatory.
