- Develop and implement legal strategies, policies and processes aligned with the company's business objectives, while identifying and mitigating legal risks.
- Provide legal advice and support on real estate transactions, contracts, leasing, regulatory compliance, litigation and dispute resolution.
- Draft, review and negotiate contracts, agreements and other legal documents relating to real estate acquisitions, sales, leases and financing.
- Monitor changes in applicable laws, regulations and industry developments, and advise management on their potential business and legal implications.
- Manage relationships with external legal counsel, law firms and other service providers, and oversee the engagement and outsourcing of legal work where required.
- Conduct legal due diligence for real estate transactions, including title searches, zoning matters, environmental assessments and regulatory compliance.
- Represent the company, as required, in legal proceedings and participate in negotiations, mediations and arbitrations.
- Handle other legal matters, assignments and special projects entrusted by senior management.
