This is a senior functional leadership position (12–15 years of experience) that carries full accountability for material availability, inventory and working capital, supplier performance, and SCM cost control. The role reports into Managing Director, works as a strategic partner to Sales, Finance, Quality, Manufacturing and Business leadership, and leads a team of supply chain personnel, while also collaborating with external supply chain experts to implement global initiatives. Experience:
12–15 years in Supply Chain Management, with proven people-leadership experience.
· Scope: Supply Chain strategy, Procurement & Strategic Sourcing, Demand Planning & S&OP;, Inventory, Import & Customs, Warehousing and Logistics.
· Mandate: Ensure material availability, optimise inventory and working capital, improve supplier performance, and control SCM costs.
· Impact: Drive ERP/MRP, automation, analytics and process improvement in a fast-paced environment with a strong bias for impact-based action. Responsibilities Supply Chain Strategy & Leadership
· Develop and implement SCM strategies aligned with business requirements.
· Lead end-to-end Supply Chain, Procurement, Planning, Inventory, Import & Customs, and Logistics operations.
· Lead and develop the SCM team and ensure cross-functional coordination with Sales, Finance, Quality and Manufacturing.
· Maintain a strong bias for impact-based action in a fast-paced setting. Demand Planning & SOP




· Manage demand planning and SOP to translate business forecasts into executable supply plans.
· Ensure timely material availability to support business and customer commitments. Procurement & Strategic Sourcing
· Lead procurement, strategic sourcing, and vendor development to build a reliable and competitive supplier base.
· Drive commercial negotiations with suppliers to secure best-in-class price, quality, and delivery terms.
· Monitor and improve supplier performance through regular reviews and corrective action. Inventory & Working Capital
· Optimise inventory levels and safety stock to balance service levels with cost.
· Improve working capital and reduce excess and obsolete inventory. Import, Customs & Compliance
· Manage import operations, customs clearance, and documentation.
· Ensure regulatory compliance across all import and customs activities. Logistics & Warehouse Operations
· Oversee inbound, outbound, and reverse logistics, including logistics partner performance.
· Apply strong knowledge and hands-on experience to manage warehouse operations efficiently. Cost Optimisation, MIS & KPIs
· Drive procurement, logistics, inventory, and overall SCM cost optimisation.
· Develop SCM MIS and monitor key KPIs including material availability, inventory, OTIF, supplier performance, lead time, and cost. Digitalisation, Process Improvement & Global Collaboration
· Drive ERP, automation, analytics, and process improvement initiatives.
· Partner with external supply chain experts to implement global initiatives.

· Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Operations, Engineering, Commerce, Business Administration, or a related field.
· Postgraduate qualification in Supply Chain/Operations will be an advantage.
· 12–15 years of experience in Supply Chain Management, including team leadership.
· Strong experience in end-to-end SCM, procurement, planning, inventory, and logistics.
· Hands-on experience in imports, customs, and compliance.
· Strong knowledge of S&OP;, MRP, inventory management, supplier development, and negotiations.
· Experience with ERP/MRP systems and SCM MIS/analytics. Key Competencies
