Role Description The Steel Structure Fabrication Site In-Charge is a full-time, on-site position based in Mengio, responsible for overseeing day-to-day steel fabrication and erection activities at the project site. This role involves planning and supervising fabrication and installation work, coordinating with project managers, engineers, and contractors to meet technical specifications, quality standards, and safety requirements. The Site In-Charge monitors progress against schedules, manages site resources, and ensures that materials, tools, and equipment are available and properly utilized.



Daily tasks include reviewing drawings and fabrication plans, conducting site inspections, resolving technical or execution issues, and maintaining accurate documentation and reports. The role also requires close adherence to health, safety, and environmental guidelines, while supporting testing, commissioning, and handover of structural works. Qualifications
• Candidates should possess strong technical skills in steel structure fabrication, erection, welding processes, and interpretation of structural and fabrication drawings.
• Candidates should possess skills in project execution, site supervision, resource planning, and coordination with multidisciplinary teams (civil, mechanical, electrical, and instrumentation).
• Candidates should possess knowledge of quality control, inspection procedures, material standards, and documentation related to structural fabrication and installation.
• Candidates should possess familiarity with safety regulations, risk assessment, and implementation of protected work practices on construction and industrial sites.
• Candidates should possess effective communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills to manage site teams and interface with clients, contractors, and vendors.
• Diploma or degree in Mechanical Engineering, Civil Engineering, or a related field, with prior experience in steel structure fabrication and erection, preferably within EPC or industrial projects.
• Ability to work on remote project sites, adapt to changing project requirements, and use basic digital tools (email, spreadsheets, project reporting) for daily coordination.
