Role Description This full-time, remote Process Engineer – Water and Wastewater role focuses on designing, analyzing, and optimizing treatment processes for international projects delivered through Expora’s network. The person in this position develops process flow diagrams, mass and energy balances, and technical specifications for water and wastewater systems, ensuring compliance with performance, quality, and regulatory requirements. Day-to-day activities include process simulations, equipment sizing, reviewing vendor proposals, and supporting detailed engineering and commissioning activities. The role also involves evaluating treatment technologies,



preparing technical reports and design documentation, and collaborating with cross-functional teams, manufacturers, and international partners to resolve process issues and improve system reliability. The Process Engineer provides ongoing technical support throughout project execution, including troubleshooting, performance monitoring, and recommending improvements to achieve efficient, cost-effective operations. Qualifications
• Solid foundation in Process Engineering and Chemical Engineering, with experience in water and wastewater treatment systems.
• Proficiency in Process Design, including development of process flow diagrams, mass balances, and equipment specifications.
• Experience in Process Control, including familiarity with control strategies, instrumentation, and operational optimization.
• Excellent Analytical Skills for evaluating treatment performance, interpreting data, and solving complex process problems.
• Bachelor’s degree or higher in Chemical Engineering, Environmental Engineering, or a related discipline.
• Experience with relevant design and simulation tools (e.g., process modeling software, CAD or similar) is beneficial.
• Knowledge of international standards, environmental regulations, and industry best practices for water and wastewater treatment is an advantage.
• Effective written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to work independently in a remote setting and collaborate across cultures and time zones.
