• Company: Leading MNC Role Overview We are seeking an experienced API Gateway Architect to lead the organisation-wide migration from Apigee Edge to AWS API Gateway. The candidate will assess the existing Apigee environment, define the target architecture and establish API governance, security, observability and migration standards. Mandatory Skills

Key Responsibilities
• Assess the existing Apigee environment, including routing, rate limiting, quotas, security policies, API keys and OAuth/JWT configurations.
• Perform feature-parity gap analysis between Apigee and AWS API Gateway.
• Define target-state architecture and reference architectures for AWS API Gateway.
• Design API Gateway integrations with Lambda, Cognito, IAM, WAF and custom domains.
• Establish API logging, monitoring, metrics and distributed tracing.
• Design centralised reporting dashboards for API traffic, latency, errors and consumer usage.
• Define API security standards covering OAuth2, OIDC, JWT validation, mTLS, API keys and WAF.
• Establish API governance, versioning, tagging and cost-management standards.
• Lead migration planning, phased cutovers, canary/blue-green deployments and rollback strategies.
• Provide architectural guidance and support engineering teams throughout migration. Secondary Skills
