Learn more: https://www.atomgrid.in/ Role OverviewAs Associate Manager – Supply Chain Planning (EXIM Operations), you will own every import and export shipment at Atomgrid, end to end. You will plan shipments before they become urgent, resolve issues quickly when they arise, and ensure every order reaches the customer on time. This is an ownership role, not a coordination role: you will know the status of every shipment, identify risks early, and align Demand, Supply, Logistics, and Finance to deliver outcomes. You will report directly to a member of the founding team. What You’ll DoPlan and manage shipments
• Build forward shipment plans from confirmed and expected orders.
• Align supplier readiness, documentation, payment terms, and logistics capacity before they become bottlenecks.
• Re-plan quickly when vessels are delayed, documents are missing, or suppliers slip.
• Maintain a live view of every shipment, including status, timelines, risks, and next actions. Own fulfilment end to end
• Exports: Manage orders from closure through dispatch and customs clearance, meeting customer-specific shipment requirements.
• Imports: Coordinate with overseas suppliers, track inbound shipments, and ensure timely clearance and receipt.




• Take accountability for shipment outcomes; if there is a delay, identify the cause, communicate early, and drive resolution. Coordinate across teams
• Act as the link between Demand, Supply, Logistics & Fulfilment, and Finance.
• Coordinate order closure, customer requirements, supplier readiness, goods movement, payment security, advances, payments, and receivables.
• Serve as the single point of contact for EXIM status across teams. Identify and resolve blockers
• Identify critical shipment risks related to documentation, payments, suppliers, bookings, or customer requirements.
• Raise blockers early, prioritise effectively, and drive issues to closure. Build documentation and processes
• Ensure import, export, and hazardous-cargo documentation is complete and customs-ready.
• Create checklists, trackers, and SOPs to make EXIM operations predictable as Atomgrid scales.
• Convert recurring issues into process improvements. What We’re Looking For
• 1–4 years of experience in supply chain, operations, programme management, or a similar role.
• EXIM experience is a plus, but not mandatory; a strong willingness to learn import-export processes, customs documentation, and payment terms is essential.
• Strong ownership mindset: you follow through without needing to be reminded.
• Excellent stakeholder management across internal teams, suppliers, freight forwarders, and finance partners.
• Strong attention to detail, especially for documents, payment terms, and customer-specific requirements.
• Ability to plan ahead, react quickly to disruptions, and find practical workarounds.
• Strong prioritisation skills and the ability to stay calm under pressure.
