Senior IMS-QEHS Consultant Smartedge Consulting | Hyderabad Position: Senior IMS-QEHS Consultant Department: IMS-QEHS Consulting Employment: Full-time

Role Objective To independently manage and deliver IMS-QEHS consulting assignments for clients across manufacturing, engineering, infrastructure and service industries. The position requires a hands-on professional who can understand actual organizational operations, identify system gaps, develop practical solutions, implement management systems and prepare organizations for successful certification and continual improvement. 3.

Key Responsibilities
A. IMS-QEHS Implementation
• Lead implementation of ISO 9001, ISO 14001 and ISO 45001 management systems.
• Conduct gap assessments and develop implementation roadmaps.
• Develop and review policies, procedures, SOPs, work instructions, formats and other system documentation.
• Establish risk assessment, aspects and impacts assessment, operational controls and compliance management processes.
• Integrate Quality, Environment and Occupational Health & Safety management systems.
• Support organizations in establishing practical systems rather than documentation-driven compliance. B. Client Management & Consulting
• Independently handle assigned client projects from kickoff to certification.
• Interact with Top Management, Plant Heads, Quality Heads, EHS Heads and Management Representatives.




• Identify operational issues and recommend practical corrective and preventive actions.
• Guide client teams in implementing systems and maintaining effectiveness.
• Conduct management review meetings and facilitate organizational improvement initiatives. C. Audits & Compliance
• Conduct internal audits and compliance assessments.
• Identify non-conformities and facilitate root cause analysis and corrective actions.
• Prepare organizations for Stage 1 and Stage 2 certification audits.
• Coordinate with certification bodies and support clients during certification and surveillance audits.
• Conduct supplier assessments and process audits wherever required. D. Training & Capability Development
• Conduct awareness and implementation training.
• Train internal auditors and departmental coordinators.
• Coach Management Representatives and internal implementation teams.
• Facilitate management review and continual improvement initiatives. E. Business Development Support
• Identify additional consulting opportunities within existing client organizations.
• Support Smartedge in client meetings, technical presentations and proposal preparation.
• Identify opportunities for expanding IMS-QEHS into EHS, ESG and other management system services. 4. Preferred Experience & Candidate Profile Candidates from the following backgrounds will receive preference:
• Experienced IMS Consultants: Professionals who have independently implemented ISO 9001, ISO 14001 and ISO 45001 in multiple organizations.
• Management Representatives (MRs): Professionals who have worked as MR, Quality Head, EHS Head or IMS Head in manufacturing or engineering companies.
• Retired Industry Professionals: Retired Quality Managers, Plant Heads,



EHS Heads and senior management professionals interested in pursuing a full-time consulting career.
• Lead Auditors / Auditors: Professionals with certification body or third-party auditing experience and strong implementation knowledge. Essential competencies:
• Strong knowledge of ISO 9001, ISO 14001 and ISO 45001.
• Practical experience in implementing and maintaining IMS-QEHS.
• Ability to independently handle client assignments.
• Good communication, documentation, presentation and training skills.
• Willingness to travel to client locations.
• Proficiency in MS Office and preparation of management system documentation. IRCA-certified Lead Auditor qualifications and experience with accredited certification bodies will be an added advantage. 5. Performance Expectations The selected candidate will be expected to:
• Independently manage 3–4 consulting assignments at a time, depending on project complexity.
• Complete assigned project deliverables within agreed timelines.
• Maintain effective client relationships and satisfaction.
• Ensure practical implementation and readiness for certification.
• Support additional business generation through existing client relationships.
• Contribute to Smartedge's consulting methodologies, templates and knowledge base. 6. What Smartedge Offers
