Role Description The Travel Advisor is a full-time, in office role based in Mysore, responsible for designing and coordinating customized travel itineraries for individual travelers, families, and groups. Day-to-day tasks include consulting with clients to understand their preferences and budgets, recommending destinations, accommodations, and activities, and making detailed travel arrangements such as flights, hotels, transfers, and tours. The role involves managing bookings through travel agency systems, ensuring accurate documentation, and maintaining clear, timely communication with clients before, during, and after their trips. The Travel Advisor will also handle inquiries and resolve issues to support high levels of customer satisfaction, while staying updated on travel trends, policies, and safety requirements.



Collaboration with internal teams and external partners is expected to deliver reliable, personalized travel experiences. Qualifications
• Solid customer-focused skills, including Customer Satisfaction and Customer Service, with the ability to build trust and maintain long-term client relationships.
• Excellent Communication skills, both verbal and written, to explain options clearly and handle client queries effectively.
• Hands-on experience with Travel Arrangements, including booking flights, accommodations, transport, and activities, and managing itineraries.
• Background in a Travel Agency or similar environment, with familiarity in using booking platforms and travel management tools.
• Attention to detail, organizational skills, and the ability to manage multiple client requests and deadlines simultaneously.
• Basic knowledge of domestic and international destinations, visa requirements, and travel regulations; ability to research and verify travel information.
• Comfort with using computers and common office software; experience with CRM or reservation systems is an advantage.
• Preferred qualifications include a diploma or degree in Travel & Tourism, Hospitality, or a related field, and prior experience in a travel advisory or customer-facing role.
