Role Description This contract, remote role for a Freelance Revit & BIM Modeler – AutoCAD to Revit Conversion focuses on converting 2D AutoCAD drawings into accurate, detailed Revit models. Day-to-day tasks include reviewing and interpreting architectural, structural, and MEP drawings, creating and updating BIM models, and maintaining consistency with project standards and client requirements. The role involves coordinating model elements, organizing views and sheets, and preparing models for visualization, clash detection, and downstream use by design and engineering teams. The modeler will collaborate with project managers and technical leads, communicate progress and issues,



and meet agreed timelines and quality benchmarks. Qualifications
• Strong proficiency in Revit for architectural, structural, and MEP modeling, including families, views, schedules, and sheets.
• Hands-on experience converting 2D AutoCAD drawings into 3D Revit/BIM models with attention to accuracy and detail.
• Solid understanding of BIM standards, model coordination practices, and documentation workflows.
• Ability to interpret technical drawings, specifications, and design intent, and resolve basic modeling issues independently.
• Familiarity with visualization workflows and coordination with AR/VR or interactive applications is a plus.
• Effective remote collaboration skills, including transparent written and verbal communication and reliable time management.
• Previous experience as a BIM Modeler, CAD/Revit Technician, or similar role in architecture, engineering, or construction.
• Relevant education or training in architecture, engineering, construction technology, or a related field is preferred.
• Good communication skills in English. Expected to take part in occasional client meetings
