• Industry: Solid Waste Management / RDF / Waste-to-Energy Job Summary We are looking for an experienced Plant Manager to oversee overall operations of a solid waste management / RDF-based waste-to-energy plant. The candidate should have robust operational knowledge, team management skills, and an understanding of carbon credits and plastic credits.

Key Responsibilities
• Manage overall plant operations, including waste processing, segregation, RDF production, and material handling.
• Ensure smooth operation of conveyors, shredders, mixers, thermal chambers, and related mechanical systems.
• Lead and manage a team of 5–10 or more employees.
• Plan manpower allocation, monitor performance, and ensure operational targets are achieved.
• Coordinate with maintenance teams to minimize equipment breakdowns and plant downtime.
• Monitor RDF quality,



production efficiency, and plant performance.
• Ensure compliance with environmental, safety, and operational standards.
• Maintain daily operational reports, production records, and performance data.
• Support carbon credit and plastic credit initiatives through operational data and documentation. Required Skills and Qualifications
• Degree in Mechanical Engineering.
• Minimum 5 years of relevant experience in solid waste management or RDF-based waste-to-energy plants.
• Experience in handling overall plant operations and leading operational teams.
• Strong knowledge of mechanical systems, waste processing, and RDF production.
• Understanding of carbon credits, plastic credits, and sustainability practices.
• Strong leadership, team-building, and problem-solving skills. Preferred Experience
• Experience in RDF-based waste-to-energy plant operations.
• Knowledge of carbon credit / plastic credit projects.
• Experience in plant productivity improvement and operational cost control.
