Project Description: Performance Test Engineer role to support Digital Banking program for a leading Australian banking customer. The role involves ensuring the performance, scalability, reliability, and stability of critical banking applications, batch processes, and data warehouse workloads through end-to-end performance engineering and testing activities.

Responsibilities:
• Develop and maintain performance test strategies, plans, and execution schedules.
• Design performance test scenarios and workload models aligned to business requirements.
• Create and manage performance test data for various testing cycles.
• Develop, execute, and maintain performance test scripts using JMeter.
• Conduct performance, load, stress, and endurance testing.
• Analyse test results, identify bottlenecks, and provide optimization recommendations.
• Prepare and present Test Summary Reports (TSRs) and performance assessment findings.
• Integrate performance testing within Azure DevOps CI/CD pipelines.
• Collaborate with development, infrastructure, and project teams to resolve performance issues.
• Support testing of batch processing and data warehouse solutions.
• Participate in defect triage, root cause analysis, and performance tuning activities. Mandatory Skills Description:
• 5+ years of hands-on experience in Performance Testing and Performance Engineering across large-scale enterprise applications.
• Robust expertise in designing, developing, and executing performance test scripts using Apache JMeter.




• Proven experience integrating performance testing into Azure DevOps pipelines and CI/CD delivery processes.
• Experience performing performance testing for batch processing systems and Data Warehouse platforms.
• Strong capability in test data creation, management, and preparation for performance test execution.
• Expertise in developing performance test strategies, plans, and execution approaches.
• Experience designing workload models and realistic performance test scenarios based on business volumes.
• Proficiency in performance test script development, execution, and execution management.
• Strong ability to analyse performance test results, identify bottlenecks, and provide optimisation recommendations.
• Experience preparing comprehensive Test Summary Reports (TSRs) and communicating test outcomes to stakeholders.
• Excellent analytical, troubleshooting, and root-cause analysis skills across application and infrastructure layers.
• Strong stakeholder management and communication skills with the ability to engage technical and business teams.
• Experience working within Agile, DevOps, and Continuous Delivery environments. Nice-to-Have Skills Description:
• Knowledge of Service Virtualisation tools, preferably Tricentis Tosca OSV.
• Prior experience in the Banking and Payments domain.
• Experience in large-scale Core Banking transformation or migration programs.
• Exposure to cloud-based performance engineering practices.
• Experience leading performance testing engagements across multiple application teams.
