Role Description This is a full time remote role for a WordPress Developer. The WordPress Developer will design, develop, and maintain WordPress-based websites and web applications that integrate with VeriCore’s APIs and services. Daily responsibilities include building custom themes and plugins, implementing front-end and back-end functionality, optimizing performance, and ensuring responsive and accessible user experiences. The role involves collaborating with product, design, and engineering teams to translate requirements into secure,



scalable WordPress solutions, as well as troubleshooting issues, performing regular updates, and maintaining documentation. The WordPress Developer will follow best practices in coding, testing, and version control to deliver high-quality, reliable web experiences. Qualifications
• Strong WordPress development skills, including custom theme and plugin development, and overall Web Development experience.
• Front-End Development skills, including HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and experience creating interactive user interfaces.
• Responsive Web Design and Web Design skills to ensure mobile-friendly, accessible, and visually consistent layouts.
• Back-End Web Development skills, including PHP, REST APIs, database integration, and performance optimization.
• Experience with integrating third-party APIs and working with JSON, webhooks, and authentication methods.
• Familiarity with version control tools (e.g., Git) and collaborative development workflows.
• Ability to work independently in a remote environment, manage priorities, and meet project deadlines.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field, or equivalent practical experience.
