Role Description The HVAC Design Engineer will be responsible for designing HVAC systems for commercial, residential, and industrial projects, ensuring compliance with applicable codes and standards. Day-to-day tasks include performing load calculations, preparing detailed design drawings and specifications, coordinating HVAC layouts with plumbing and other mechanical services, and reviewing designs with project managers and other stakeholders. The role also involves collaborating with architects, consultants, and contractors, participating in design review meetings,



and providing technical support during installation and commissioning. This is a full-time, on-site role based in Madurai. Qualifications
• Strong expertise in HVAC Design and HVAC system selection, including ducting, piping, and equipment layouts.
• Knowledge of Plumbing systems design and coordination with HVAC and other mechanical services.
• Proficiency in performing engineering Calculations related to heat load, ventilation, and energy efficiency.
• Solid foundation in Mechanical Engineering principles relevant to building services and system integration.
• Experience with design and drafting tools (e.g., AutoCAD, Revit, or similar) and familiarity with relevant codes and standards.
• Ability to interpret architectural and structural drawings and translate them into workable mechanical designs.
• Effective communication and teamwork skills, with the ability to collaborate with multidisciplinary project teams.
• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related discipline; prior experience in HVAC design for building projects is an advantage.
