Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Trademark role located in Ahmedabad. The role involves managing trademark portfolios, including conducting trademark searches, drafting and filing applications, and overseeing prosecution and renewal processes. The individual will review and analyze trademark registers, prepare legal opinions on availability and registrability, and assist in handling oppositions, cancellations, and infringement matters. Daily responsibilities include coordinating with clients, gathering instructions and documentation, preparing reports and updates, and collaborating with senior attorneys on strategy. The role also includes legal research,



drafting agreements and notices related to brand protection, and maintaining accurate case records in accordance with firm procedures. Qualifications
• Candidates should possess strong trademark law knowledge, including familiarity with registration procedures, prosecution, oppositions, and enforcement.
• Candidates should possess skills in legal research, statutory interpretation, and case law analysis relevant to intellectual property rights.
• Candidates should possess drafting and reviewing skills for applications, notices, opinions, agreements, and client communications.
• Candidates should possess client service skills, including clear communication, professional correspondence, and relationship management.
• Candidates should possess organizational skills for managing multiple matters, deadlines, and documentation with attention to detail.
• LLB or equivalent law degree from a recognized institution; registration with the appropriate bar or legal authority is preferred.
• Prior experience or internship exposure in trademark or broader IPR practice is highly beneficial.
• Ability to work collaboratively in a team-based environment and maintain high ethical standards and confidentiality.
