Experience 8 to 12 years We are looking for an experienced SAP S/4HANA Controls & Compliance Architect to lead the design and implementation of a robust Controls by Design framework across S/4HANA transformation programs. The ideal candidate will combine deep expertise in SAP S/4HANA business-process controls, SAP GRC, SoD, SOX/ICFR, automated controls, and audit compliance, with the ability to translate business risks into sustainable, system-driven controls.

Key Responsibilities
• Architect the S/4HANA internal controls framework, mapping business risks to preventive and detective controls.
• Drive Controls by Design across S/4HANA implementations, migrations, and enhancements.
• Design and optimize automated/configurable controls including three-way match, tolerances, approval workflows, posting controls, and other system-enforced controls.
• Lead SoD and access-risk strategy, including rule-set optimization, risk analysis, remediation, and mitigating controls.
• Develop and maintain the SOX/ICFR control catalog and RACM/RCM, including control objectives, key controls, testing, and audit evidence requirements.




• Partner with Finance, Internal/External Audit, Risk, SAP Security, and functional teams to address control gaps and drive remediation.
• Establish controls standards, documentation, governance, and training to strengthen the overall compliance culture. What We’re Looking For
• 10+ years of experience in SAP GRC, SAP controls, internal controls, IT audit, or related areas.
• Strong S/4HANA implementation, migration, or transformation experience.
• Solid understanding of SOX/ICFR, RACM/RCM, control design, testing, and audit evidence.
• Knowledge of S/4HANA processes such as R2R, P2P, and O2C and their configurable/application controls, Manual controls, Semi Automated controls.
• Strong understanding of SoD, SAP authorizations, access risks, and mitigating controls.
• Proven ability to translate risk and compliance requirements into automated SAP controls.
• Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills across business, Finance, Audit, Risk, and IT. •
