About the Role
Bytecode Trainings is hiring an in office Career Counselor to guide learners through tech career pathways in Full Stack, Data Analytics, and GenAI with AI full stack. You will provide personalized guidance, career coaching, and employability support to help candidates successfully transition into the tech industry.
Key Responsibilities
* 1-on-1 Mentorship: Conduct individual counseling sessions to clarify career goals, create personalized development plans, and recommend matching training tracks.
* Employability Support: Lead workshops on resume building, interview readiness, and job search strategies.
* Progress Tracking: Monitor learner milestones, maintain detailed counseling records, and provide actionable feedback.
* Cross-Functional Collaboration:
Partner with technical trainers and placement teams to align counseling with curriculum and industry hiring trends.
Requirements:
* Core
Skills:
Proven experience in career counseling, student advising, or talent development (tech/education sector preferred).
* Communication: Strong interpersonal, active listening, and presentation skills across diverse student backgrounds.

Education:
Bachelor’s degree in Psychology, Education, HR, Counseling, or a related field (career counseling certifications are a plus).
* Mindset: High empathy, structured organization, and the ability to thrive in a collaborative training environment.
