About the Role
We are looking for an experienced Lead Guidewire Billing Center Developer to take end-to-end technical ownership of Billing Center across both production support and application change. The role combines hands-on engineering, production troubleshooting and delivery of enhancements. The successful candidate will ensure platform stability and reliability while delivering business changes, defect fixes and continuous technical improvements within a product-aligned Run and Change model.

Key Responsibilities
• Take end-to-end technical ownership of Guidewire Billing Center across production support and change delivery.
• Diagnose and resolve complex Billing Center application, configuration, integration, batch and data issues.
• Design, develop, configure and implement Billing Center enhancements, defect fixes and technical improvements.
• Lead technical investigation of critical production incidents and support timely service restoration.
• Perform root-cause analysis and convert recurring production issues into permanent fixes and improvement initiatives.
• Develop and maintain Gosu code, business rules, workflows, product-model configuration and integrations.
• Perform technical impact assessments and solution design for business, regulatory and platform changes.
• Build and support integrations using REST APIs, web services and appropriate Guidewire integration patterns.
• Participate in incident, problem and change-management processes and provide technical leadership during major incidents.
• Support the complete release lifecycle, including development, unit testing, deployment, production validation and rollback readiness.




• Deliver hot fixes and emergency changes when required while maintaining appropriate engineering and change controls.
• Perform code reviews and ensure solutions comply with Guidewire, architecture, security and engineering standards.
• Work with QA teams to support functional, integration, regression and automated testing.
• Collaborate with DevOps teams to improve CI/CD, deployment automation and release reliability.
• Improve monitoring and observability to enable proactive detection of application and integration issues.
• Analyze incidents, defects and support demand to identify opportunities for automation and technical simplification.
• Reduce technical debt and improve application performance, maintainability and supportability.
• Maintain technical documentation, troubleshooting guides, knowledge articles and operational runbooks.
• Mentor Billing Center developers and support engineers and provide guidance on complex technical issues.
• Work with business, architecture, Service Delivery, QA, integration and DevOps teams to priorities Run and Change demand.

Qualifications:
• Typically 6+ years of application-development experience, including significant hands-on Guidewire experience.
• Robust development and configuration experience with Guidewire Billing Center.
• Experience working across both production support and application development/change.
• Strong knowledge of Billing Center configuration, Product Model, business rules, workflows and integrations.
• Experience supporting business-critical applications within production or managed-services environments.
• Strong debugging, troubleshooting and root-cause-analysis skills.
• Experience delivering application changes using Agile and CI/CD practices.
• Ability to provide technical leadership across distributed development and support teams. Must have
