• Introduce and sustain 5S practices across the store. 2. Material Receiving & Incoming Inspection
• Manage incoming materials against purchase orders and specifications.
• Implement Goods Receipt Notes (GRN)

• Coordinate with Procurement and technical teams for discrepancies, rejected materials and pending inspection approvals.
• Ensure materials are released only after the required clearance. 3. Inventory & Stock Management

• Conduct physical stock verification and periodic cycle counting.
• Monitor minimum/maximum stock levels, reorder points, safety stock and material consumption.
• Identify expired, excess, dead and slow-moving inventory. 4. Material Traceability & Storage Compliance
• Maintain batch, lot, heat number and serial number traceability wherever applicable.
• Ensure supplier test certificates and supporting documentation are available for traceability.
• Manage storage conditions for chemicals, ESD-sensitive components and other controlled materials.
• Implement shelf-life monitoring and First Expiry First Out (FEFO) practices. 5. Asset & Scrap Management
• Maintain asset tagging, physical verification and asset registers.
• Track AMC, warranty and maintenance-related records.
• Manage rejected, non-conforming, expired and scrap materials with appropriate segregation and disposal documentation. 6. ERP, MIS & Audit Management
• Manage inventory transactions and material records through ERP/inventory systems.
• Prepare monthly stock, shortage, ageing and discrepancy reports.
• Define material and inventory process requirements for the planned ERP implementation.
• Maintain audit-ready documentation for internal, statutory and customer audits.

Essential Qualifications & Experience
• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Materials Management or Supply Chain. Diploma holders may be considered based on substantial relevant experience.
• Minimum 5 years of hands-on experience managing stores/inventory in pharmaceutical, chemical, defence, aerospace or precision manufacturing environments.
• Must have experience setting up a store, inventory system or incoming inspection process from scratch.
• Practical experience with GRN, incoming inspection, stock reconciliation and inventory control.
• Knowledge of batch/lot/serial traceability and supplier test certificates.
