Working Hours
Weekday evenings and weekends, scheduled around students’ availability Mode: Online only (audio and video calls). Own laptop, mobile phone, secure internet and a quiet space required Start Date: Immediate Salary Range: Rs.18,000
- Rs.22,000 per month (Indian Rupees)
- for 80 hours a month Reports to: Manager, Training & Mentoring Monthly Deliverables
• 50-60 one-to-one Wellness interviews along with documentation
• 10 one-to-one Speak Up (English) mentoring sessions with 6 students

Key Responsibilities
Student Wellness Interviews
• Review the student list and SSF’s wellness question set; schedule evening/weekend slots and send video-call links and reminders
• Conduct supportive, non-judgemental interviews,



covering every question in the SSF question set and capturing answers in the student’s own words
• Capture proof of each interview (consented screenshot with date and time, call start/end time, platform used)
• Complete one professional interview report per student in SSF’s template within 24 hours
• Escalate any sign of serious distress, safety risk or urgent need to SSF the same day Speak Up Mentoring
• Study the Speak Up curriculum and plan activities, prompts and practice material for each session
• Deliver one-to-one sessions that give every student time to speak and practice, with specific, encouraging feedback on confidence, clarity and communication
• Set small practice tasks between sessions and review them in the next one
• Keep attendance records and brief session notes, record a starting point for each student, and write a progress note at the end of the cycle
• Flag students who miss sessions or need extra support Confidentiality & Student Safeguarding
• Sign SSF’s confidentiality agreement before receiving any student data
• Use student information only for SSF work, with no sharing or retaining copies after the engagement




• Take screenshots only with student consent; record calls only if SSF and the student both agree
• Stay on SSF-approved channels (no personal social media contact) and follow SSF’s safeguarding policy, including for students under 18 Requirements
• Bachelor’s degree in psychology, social work, education, communication or a related field, or equivalent experience
• Experience interviewing, counselling, mentoring or training college students or young people
• Excellent spoken and written English, with the ability to run engaging sessions and write clear, professional reports
• Confident with Google Meet / Zoom, Google Docs/Sheets or MS Office, and shared drives
• Reliable availability on weekday evenings and weekends for at least 60 hours a month
• Empathetic, patient, discreet and non-judgmental; organised and deadline-driven Preferred
• Experience in public speaking, communication or soft-skills coaching
• Prior work with NGOs, scholarship programs or first-generation college students
