Junior-Intermediate BIM Architect – Architecture

Our diverse range of services includes Architecture, Master Planning, Urban Design, Engineering, Landscape Architecture, Interior Design, Lighting and Acoustics. BDP is currently engaged in several large-scale, BIM-driven projects across India and internationally. We are looking for enthusiastic and technically proficient Junior BIM Architects to join our Architecture team in New Delhi. Role Overview The Junior BIM Architect will be responsible for developing and coordinating architectural BIM models, producing design and construction documentation, and supporting multidisciplinary BIM workflows across various project stages. The ideal candidate should have a strong understanding of architectural design principles, hands-on experience in Autodesk Revit, and a good working knowledge of BIM processes, standards and collaborative project delivery. Candidates should have successfully executed a minimum of two projects using BIM/Revit workflows and demonstrate the ability to work effectively within a multidisciplinary design environment.

Key Responsibilities
• Develop, manage and maintain architectural BIM models using Autodesk Revit.
• Prepare architectural drawings, plans, sections, elevations, schedules and detailed documentation across various design stages.
• Implement and adhere to established BIM Execution Plans (BEP), project protocols, modelling standards and naming conventions.
• Understand and follow BIM workflows, including model development, information exchange, coordination and documentation.
• Coordinate architectural models with Structural,



MEP and other multidisciplinary models to identify and resolve design clashes and interface issues.
• Assist in model audits, quality checks and compliance with project-specific BIM requirements.
• Ensure accuracy, consistency and appropriate Level of Development (LOD) in BIM models and associated deliverables.
• Support the preparation and management of BIM data, schedules and information deliverables.
• Participate in BIM coordination meetings and collaborate with internal teams and external consultants.
• Maintain project documentation and ensure timely delivery in accordance with project programmes and quality standards. Educational Qualifications
• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Architecture from a recognised institution.
• 2–6 years of relevant professional experience in architectural design and BIM-based project delivery. Project Experience
• Experience in large-scale Commercial, Sports, Mixed-use, Airport, Institutional or High-rise Residential projects will be preferred.
• Demonstrated experience in executing at least one project using Revit and BIM workflows.
• Good understanding of architectural design development and preparation of drawings across Concept, Schematic, Detailed Design and Construction Documentation stages.
• Experience working in multidisciplinary project teams and coordinating with other design disciplines. Technical and Software Skills Essential

Skills:
• High proficiency in Autodesk Revit, including architectural modelling, documentation, schedules, families and model management.




• Good working knowledge of AutoCAD and Microsoft Office.
• Understanding of BIM methodologies, workflows and collaborative model coordination.
• Familiarity with model sharing, worksharing, linked models and data exchange processes.
• Understanding of BIM model quality control and documentation standards. Desirable

Skills:
• Knowledge of ISO 19650 standards and their application in project information management.
• Familiarity with COBie requirements and structured asset information management.
• Working knowledge of Autodesk Navisworks for model federation and clash detection.
• Exposure to Autodesk Construction Cloud (ACC)/BIM 360 and Common Data Environment (CDE) workflows.
• Knowledge of Dynamo, Rhino, Grasshopper, Enscape and Lumion will be an added advantage.
• Familiarity with BIM Execution Plans (BEP), Employer's Information Requirements (EIR) and information exchange protocols. Personal Attributes and Competencies
