Role Description The Debt Recovery Team Lead is a full-time, on-site role based in Bengaluru. This role oversees a team of recovery agents, sets daily targets, and monitors performance to ensure effective collection of overdue accounts while maintaining compliance with company policies and regulatory guidelines. The Team Lead manages call strategies, reviews case progress, and provides coaching and feedback to team members to improve negotiation and communication outcomes. Responsibilities include analyzing portfolio performance, preparing regular reports for management, and collaborating with other departments to resolve complex cases and enhance recovery processes.



The role also involves handling escalated customer interactions in a professional manner and promoting a positive, ethical, and results-driven team culture. Qualifications
• Candidates should possess strong leadership and team management skills, including the ability to coach, motivate, and evaluate performance.
• Candidates should possess excellent communication and negotiation skills, with the capacity to handle difficult conversations and resolve conflicts professionally.
• Candidates should possess proficiency in debt recovery processes, understanding of collection strategies, and familiarity with regulatory and compliance requirements.
• Candidates should possess analytical and reporting skills, including comfort with data analysis, MS Excel, and preparation of performance dashboards.
• Candidates should possess organizational and time management skills, with attention to detail and the ability to prioritize multiple portfolios and tasks.
• Prior experience in debt recovery, collections, or BPO operations in a supervisory or team lead role is highly beneficial.
• A bachelor’s degree in business, finance, commerce, or a related field is preferred, or equivalent professional experience in collections leadership.
• Comfort working on-site in a quick-paced contact center environment in Bengaluru, with flexibility for rotational shifts as per business need.
