Role Overview: We are seeking a motivated and technically proficient Sales Engineer with a strong understanding of electrical systems and a proven track record in technical sales. The Sales Engineer will be responsible for identifying and developing business opportunities in the Indian sub-continent region. This full-time, on-site role includes engaging with prospective and existing customers, understanding their technical requirements, and proposing suitable solutions that align with their operational needs. Day-to-day activities involve conducting technical presentations and product demonstrations, preparing quotations and proposals, and coordinating with internal engineering teams to address customer specifications and application challenges. The role also includes providing pre-sales and post-sales technical support, resolving customer queries, and maintaining strong, long-term customer relationships. The Sales Engineer will be expected to visit client sites, gather feedback from field applications, and contribute insights to improve product offerings and service delivery. The role is based out of Mumbai, with frequent travel within India.

Key Responsibilities




• Develop and manage sales for testing & measuring instruments, and condition monitoring solutions in the power utility and industrial sector.
• Identify and engage with potential customers including utilities, EPCs, OEMs, and industrial clients.
• Demonstrate product capabilities and provide technical support during pre-sales and post-sales stages.
• Build long-term relationships with key decision-makers and influencers in target organizations.
• Prepare proposals, quotations, and tender responses in coordination with the technical team.
• Monitor market trends and competitor activities to refine sales strategies.
• Achieve assigned sales targets and report on sales metrics, forecasts, and customer feedback. Required Qualifications &

Experience:
• Educational Qualification: Diploma or B.
E./B.
Tech in Electrical or Electronics Engineering.

Experience:
Minimum 3+ years of experience in technical sales if holding a B.
E./B.
Tech degree. Minimum 5+ years of experience if holding a Diploma in Engineering.
• Technical Knowledge: Strong understanding of electrical assets in transmission, distribution, and generation.
• Familiarity with testing and measuring equipment, condition monitoring tools, and electrical safety systems. Key Skills & Competencies:
• Solid communication and presentation skills.
• Ability to understand customer requirements and translate technical features into benefits.
• Self-motivated, target-driven, and capable of working independently.
