We are looking for a hands-on Senior Kafka Administrator / Confluent Kafka Engineer to join our growing engineering team. The ideal candidate should have solid experience in designing, deploying, administering, monitoring, and supporting enterprise-scale Apache Kafka and Confluent Kafka platforms in production environments.

Key Responsibilities
• Install, configure,



administer, and maintain Kafka/Confluent clusters across Development, QA, UAT, and Production environments.
• Manage Kafka Brokers, Topics, Partitions, Replication, Consumer Groups, and Cluster Configurations.
• Configure and support Kafka Connect, Schema Registry, Control Center, KSQL/KSQLDB, and REST Proxy.
• Perform Kafka platform upgrades, patching, cluster expansion, and capacity planning activities.
• Monitor Kafka environments using Prometheus, Grafana, Datadog, Splunk, or similar monitoring tools.
• Troubleshoot production issues related to Consumer Lag, Broker Failures, Under-Replicated Partitions, ISR issues, and Topic Performance.
• Implement High Availability (HA) and Disaster Recovery (DR) solutions using MirrorMaker2, Cluster Linking, or Replicator.
• Manage Kafka security including ACLs, RBAC, SSL/TLS, SASL, and Kerberos/OAuth authentication mechanisms.
• Collaborate with application teams for onboarding, connector deployment, troubleshooting, and performance optimization.
• Participate in RCA, incident management, and 24x7 production support activities.
