Job Description
We are looking for an experienced Test Lead / Senior Quality Analyst with strong hands-on expertise in OpenText UFT One and Playwright Automation Testing. The candidate should have experience in developing, maintaining, and executing automation scripts for web applications, regression testing, and Agile delivery environments.

Key Responsibilities
• Develop and maintain automated test scripts using OpenText UFT One and Playwright.
• Convert manual regression test cases into stable and reusable automated scripts.
• Execute automation test suites for sprint, regression, and release testing.
• Maintain UFT object repositories, VBScript functions, test data, and automation frameworks.
• Develop and maintain Playwright scripts using JavaScript or TypeScript.
• Work with locators, assertions, fixtures, hooks, and Page Object Model (POM).
• Analyze automation failures and troubleshoot script, application, test data, and environment issues.
• Update automation scripts based on application changes.
• Identify, log, track, and retest defects using Jira, Zephyr, or ALM.
• Collaborate with developers, business analysts, and QA teams.




• Prepare automation execution reports and communicate testing progress.
• Participate in code reviews and follow automation standards and best practices. Mandatory Skills
• 8 10 years of experience in Software Testing / Quality Assurance.
• Strong hands-on experience in OpenText UFT One and Playwright.
• Excellent knowledge of UFT One, VBScript, Object Repository, and Descriptive Programming.
• Experience in reusable functions, data tables, error handling, and automation reporting.
• Hands-on experience with Playwright using JavaScript or TypeScript.
• Knowledge of locators, assertions, fixtures, hooks, and Page Object Model.
• Robust experience in web application automation and regression testing.
• Experience with Jira, Zephyr, ALM, or equivalent test management tools.
• Working knowledge of Git / Bitbucket and CI/CD concepts.
• Good understanding of STLC, defect lifecycle, and Agile/Scrum methodologies. Good to Have
• SAP GUI / SAP Fiori testing experience.
• Exposure to GitHub Copilot or AI-assisted test automation.
• Basic SQL knowledge.
• Experience with Jenkins or equivalent CI/CD tools.
• Healthcare or enterprise application testing experience.
