Role Description The Tendering Specialist (GEM) will manage end-to-end tendering activities on the Government e-Marketplace (GEM) platform for the company’s piping products and solutions. This full-time, in office role is based in Vasai and involves daily monitoring of GEM opportunities, reviewing tender documents, and identifying relevant bids aligned with company capabilities and certifications. The role includes preparing technical and commercial proposals, coordinating with internal teams for pricing, product specifications, and compliance documentation,



and ensuring timely submission of bids. The Tendering Specialist will maintain accurate tender records, track bid status, and support negotiations and clarifications with customers and government agencies when required. The role also involves updating management on tender pipelines, outcomes, and market trends to support business development and strategic planning. Qualifications
• Strong tender management skills, including tender document review, bid preparation, and submission on GEM or similar government procurement platforms.
• Knowledge of piping products (pipe fittings, flanges, material grades, standards such as ASTM, ASME, IBR, EIL) and ability to interpret technical specifications.
• Proficiency in MS Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint) and online procurement portals, with accurate data entry and documentation skills.
• Good communication and coordination skills to work with sales, production, quality, and finance teams, and to interact professionally with external stakeholders.
• Strong analytical and numerical skills for pricing, cost comparison, and basic commercial evaluation.
• Attention to detail, time management, and ability to handle multiple tenders and deadlines in a structured manner.
• Prior experience in tendering, sales support, or commercial operations in manufacturing or engineering sectors, preferably in piping or related industries.
