About the Role
We are looking for a detail-oriented Junior QA Engineer with experience in manual testing, API testing and mobile application testing. You will be responsible for validating web and mobile applications, identifying defects and supporting the delivery of reliable software across TrustGrid's products, including social networking, digital marketplaces and decentralised applications.

Key Responsibilities
● Design and execute test cases, test scenarios and test plans for web and mobile applications. ● Perform functional, regression, integration, system and exploratory testing. ● Test Android and iOS applications across different devices and operating system versions. ● Perform API testing to validate backend services, integrations and data consistency. ● Validate application workflows, user authentication, messaging and marketplace transactions. ● Identify, document, track and verify software defects using Jira or equivalent tools. ● Develop and maintain basic automated test scripts for web and mobile applications. ● Perform database validation using SQL queries. ● Collaborate with developers and senior QA engineers to resolve issues. ● Participate in requirement analysis, sprint planning and release testing. ● Maintain test documentation, regression suites and test execution reports.



● Support CI/CD-based testing and release readiness activities. Required Skills & Qualifications ● 2–4 years of experience in software testing and quality assurance. ● Robust understanding of manual testing methodologies and the Software Testing Life Cycle (STLC). ● Experience in functional, regression, integration and exploratory testing. ● Hands-on experience testing web and Android/iOS applications. ● Basic experience with automation tools such as Selenium, Playwright, Cypress or Appium. ● Experience with API testing using Postman or equivalent tools. ● Understanding of REST APIs, HTTP protocols, JSON and client-server architecture. ● Familiarity with Jira or other defect-tracking tools. ● Basic knowledge of SQL and database validation. ● Understanding of Git, Agile/Scrum and software release processes. ● Strong analytical, debugging and problem-solving skills. Preferred Qualifications ● Experience testing social media applications, e-commerce platforms or online marketplaces. ● Familiarity with WebSocket-based real-time communication and messaging workflows. ● Exposure to blockchain or Web3 application testing. ● Experience with mobile testing tools such as Android Studio, Xcode or BrowserStack. ● Basic understanding of performance testing using JMeter or k6. ● Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and automated test execution.
