Role Description As the Chief Technology Officer, you will lead the end-to-end technology strategy and execution for Vante by MakemyVanity. In this full-time, on-site role based in the Greater Bhopal Area, you will guide software development teams, define architectural standards, and ensure that technology solutions align with business goals and product vision. Day-to-day responsibilities include overseeing product and platform development, setting engineering best practices, managing technology projects and budgets, and partnering with cross-functional leaders on roadmap planning. You will mentor technical team members, evaluate and implement new tools and frameworks, and ensure robust security, performance, and reliability across all systems. The role also involves working closely with founders and stakeholders to drive innovation, support scalability,



and build a high-performing engineering culture. Qualifications
• Candidates should possess strong skills in Software Development and Product Development, with experience building and scaling consumer-facing or platform-based applications.
• Candidates should possess expertise in IT Strategy and Architecture, including designing secure, scalable, and maintainable systems aligned with business objectives.
• Candidates should possess solid Project Management skills, with a track record of delivering complex technology initiatives on time and within scope.
• Proficiency in modern programming languages, cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, GCP), and development frameworks relevant to web and mobile products is beneficial.
• Experience leading and growing engineering teams, including coaching, performance management, and fostering an inclusive, team-oriented culture.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making abilities, with the capacity to balance technical depth and strategic thinking.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, enabling effective collaboration with product, design, operations, and leadership teams.
• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
• Prior experience in a senior technology leadership role, ideally in startups or high-growth environments, is highly advantageous.
