JOB PURPOSE This is responsible for aligning information technology strategy with business objectives by providing effective planning, budgeting, leadership, and governance. The role ensures secure, reliable, and productive IT infrastructure operations, including system availability, performance, backups, disaster recovery, and cybersecurity compliance. The IT Engineer leads IT projects, manages vendors and service levels, supports users, and implement digital innovation, and cost optimization to enhance operational efficiency and overall organizational performance. KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES Strategic Planning: With alignment of IT strategies and business goals, plan and manage IT budgets and cost controls. Lead, mentor and evaluate IT staff and vendors. Establish and adhere to IT policies, procedures, and best practices. Financial & Vendor Management: Own IT budgeting, cost optimization, and financial planning. Select, negotiate, and manage strategic vendor partnerships. Evaluate ROI for technology investments. Security & Compliance: Ensure cybersecurity measures are implemented and maintained as per the IT Policy and SOP. Manage network/system protection, access control, and risk mitigation. Ensure compliance with legal, regulatory, and industry standards.



Incident management and recovery. Project & Vendor Management: Manage IT projects from planning through execution and delivery. Coordinate with internal stakeholders to define technology requirements and deployment. Evaluate, select, and manage third-party vendors and service providers. Negotiate contracts and service-level agreements (SLAs). User Support & Service Delivery: Ensure effective helpdesk and technical support services. Improve user satisfaction through reliable and responsive IT services. Provide training and guidance to end users and departments Innovation & Continuous Improvement: Identify and recommend new technologies to improve efficiency and productivity. Drive digital transformation and process automation initiatives. Stay current with emerging technologies and industry trends. Infrastructure & Operations: IT equipment installation, configuration, and maintenance of IT systems (servers, networks, hardware, and software). High availability, performance, and reliability of IT services, networks, backups, and disaster recovery plans. Monitor system performance and troubleshoot critical issues Educational Qualification
