About the Role
ADPL is looking for an experienced and highly skilled Senior Accountant with strong expertise in B2B, D2C, e-commerce, and marketplace accounting. The ideal candidate should have comprehensive knowledge of GST, TDS, taxation, financial reporting, inventory accounting, and reconciliation processes across multiple sales channels. The candidate must be capable of independently managing end-to-end accounting operations, financial compliance, and reporting for a growing fashion and apparel business.

Key Responsibilities
• Independently manage complete accounting operations across B2B, D2C, and online marketplaces.
• Handle day-to-day accounting, including sales, purchases, expenses, journal entries, and ledger maintenance.
• Manage GST returns, TDS compliance, tax calculations, and statutory filings.
• Handle accounting and reconciliation for marketplaces such as Amazon, Flipkart, Myntra, AJIO, and other online selling platforms.
• Reconcile marketplace settlements, commissions, shipping charges, returns, refunds, deductions, and payment discrepancies.
• Manage Shopify transactions, payment gateway settlements, COD remittances, and online sales reconciliation.
• Handle B2B invoicing, purchase orders, vendor payments, customer outstanding balances, and credit/debit notes.
• Maintain accurate inventory accounting, stock valuation, purchase records, and cost reconciliation.
• Prepare Profit & Loss Statements, Balance Sheets, cash flow statements, and monthly MIS reports.
• Perform bank reconciliation, vendor reconciliation, customer ledger reconciliation, and payment tracking.
• Monitor accounts payable, accounts receivable, and working capital requirements.
• Handle GST Input Tax Credit (ITC), GSTR-1, GSTR-3B, GSTR-2B reconciliation,



and e-invoicing as applicable.
• Coordinate with Chartered Accountants, auditors, and tax consultants for statutory compliance and audits.
• Ensure timely monthly and annual closing of books with accurate financial reporting.
• Identify accounting discrepancies and implement effective financial controls and processes. Required Skills & Qualifications

Com, Finance, Accounting, or a related field.
• Minimum 4 years of relevant accounting experience preferred.
• Robust practical knowledge of B2B, D2C, marketplace, and e-commerce accounting.
• Advanced proficiency in Tally Prime, Microsoft Excel, and accounting software.
• Hands-on experience with GST, TDS, taxation, ITC reconciliation, and statutory compliance.
• Strong understanding of Amazon, Flipkart, Myntra, AJIO, and other marketplace settlement reports.
• Experience with Shopify, Razorpay, Cashfree, PayU, or similar payment gateways.
• Knowledge of inventory accounting, stock reconciliation, and cost management.
• Ability to prepare and analyze financial statements, MIS reports, and cash flow reports.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and financial management skills.
• Ability to independently handle complete accounting operations with minimal supervision. Preferred Candidate
• Prior experience in fashion, apparel, retail, manufacturing, or e-commerce companies.
• Strong expertise in marketplace reconciliation, settlement management, and multi-channel accounting.
• Experience managing high-volume daily transactions across multiple sales channels.
• Knowledge of GST TCS, income-tax TDS, marketplace deductions, return accounting, and payment gateway reconciliation.
• Experience in managing audits, taxation, financial reporting, and statutory compliance.
• Ability to lead accounting processes, improve financial controls, and ensure timely reporting.
