Role Description The AI Automation Engineer role is a full time remote position responsible for designing, implementing, and optimizing AI-driven automation solutions for service firms. This role involves analyzing client workflows, identifying automation opportunities, and translating them into robust AI and process-control solutions integrated with existing tools such as CRMs, email, and document management systems. Day-to-day tasks include building and maintaining automation pipelines, configuring and testing AI models and rule-based systems, troubleshooting technical issues, and ensuring reliable operation of deployed automations. The AI Automation Engineer will collaborate closely with client stakeholders to gather requirements, document workflows,



and iterate on solutions based on performance metrics and user feedback. The role also includes creating clear technical documentation, providing hands-on support during rollout, and continuously improving systems to deliver sustained time and cost savings. Qualifications
• Candidates should possess strong Automation and Process Control skills to design, deploy, and manage end-to-end AI-driven workflows.
• Candidates should possess Electrical Engineering and Robotics knowledge to integrate software automation with hardware or operational processes when needed.
• Candidates should possess solid Troubleshooting abilities to diagnose system issues, optimize performance, and ensure reliability in production environments.
• Candidates should have experience with AI and software engineering tools (e.g., Python, APIs, workflow engines, RPA platforms, or LLM-based systems) and integrating them with business systems such as CRMs and email platforms.
• Candidates should demonstrate strong analytical and process-mapping skills, with the ability to quantify automation opportunities in hours and cost.
• Candidates should have effective communication and collaboration skills to work with non-technical stakeholders, document requirements, and explain solutions clearly.
• A bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Automation, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience, is beneficial.
• Experience working with service firms in operational or technical roles, and familiarity with US or German business environments, is a plus.
