Indian Silk House Agencies (ISHA) is a 55-year-old ethnic wear retail brand with 66 stores across 60 cities. We have a strong offline retail presence, a growing e-commerce platform, and a range covering sarees, jewellery, kidswear and other ethnic products across India and internationally. As we continue our national expansion, we are strengthening our Retail Operations team at our Kolkata head office. The role As a Retail Operations Executive, you will be the link between our head office and our stores. You will follow up on daily store operations, keep campaigns and business updates moving to the stores, and make sure SOPs are followed. This is a hands-on role that needs strong follow-up, coordination and reporting skills. What you’ll own
• Coordinating with stores every day on sales, staffing, stock and other business needs
• Following up on day-to-day store operations to keep them running smoothly
• Passing on business updates, policies and operational guidelines to stores and confirming they are acted on
• Tracking store-level data: sales, stock movement, audit and compliance reports
• Following up on daily and weekly store reports and stock audits
• Supporting stores in running campaigns, promotions, launches and festive activities on time




• Resolving day-to-day operational queries from store teams, with help from other departments where needed
• Monitoring SOP and retail-standard compliance across stores, and updating SOP documents when required
• Flagging recurring issues and operational gaps and escalating them to the right people
• Supporting the rollout of new or revised SOPs at store level
• Keeping accurate records of store communications and follow-ups
• Working with Sales, HR, Visual Merchandising, Marketing, Accounts and Supply Chain to keep store operations on track What we’re looking for
• 0-3 years of experience in retail or store operations, store coordination, or retail head-office support (apparel, fashion or FMCG retail preferred).
• Freshers with a BBA, B.
Com, MBA or PGDM and a strong interest in retail operations are welcome.
• Good working knowledge of MS Excel and basic reporting
• Ability to handle multiple stores, priorities and deadlines at once
• Positive problem-solving and stakeholder-management skills
• Comfortable in a fast-paced retail environment
• Based in or willing to relocate to Kolkata
