UniStar is hiring a HOD, EPC (Water & Wastewater Treatment) We're looking for a mechanical engineer with 10-12 years in ETP/STP/WWT EPC who has led medium and large scale projects, handled teams and budgets, and delivered on targets, with a strong grasp of marketing and business development. The RoleAs HOD, EPC, you will lead our Engineering, Procurement and Construction function end to end, from pre-sales support and bidding through design, procurement, execution, commissioning and handover. You will own delivery, margins and team performance, and work closely with Sales and Marketing to convert opportunities into profitable projects.

What You'll Do
• Lead delivery of medium and large-scale ETP, STP and WWT projects on time, supply of ETP, STP and wastewater treatment projects, within budget and to quality standards
• Oversee engineering and design: P&IDs;, GA drawings, equipment sizing and hydraulic and mechanical design
• Drive procurement strategy, vendor selection and negotiations for key mechanical equipment
• Plan and control project schedules, budgets, cash flows and resources
• Support lead generation, tenders, technical proposals and techno-commercial negotiations
• Build relationships with clients, consultants, PMCs and channel partners
• Own order-booking,



revenue and margin targets alongside project delivery
• Lead, mentor and build a high-performing team across design, procurement, projects and commissioning
• Ensure statutory (CPCB/SPCB), HSE and QA/QC compliance across all sites Who You Are

Tech in Mechanical Engineering (M.
Tech preferred)
• 10-12 years in EPC of WWT/ETP/STP, with hands-on experience in medium and large-scale plants
• Proven record of planning, execution and meeting business and project targets
• Exposure to marketing and pre-sales: proposals, tendering, client engagement
• Experience managing teams and project budgets
• Strong leadership, negotiation and communication skills
• Proficient in, MS Project/Primavera and MS Office (ERP exposure is a plus)
