Position: Mechanical Engineer Supervisor – Manufacturing & Production

Experience:
Minimum 5 years

Education:
Diploma / B.
Tech in Mechanical Engineering

Salary:
₹15,000 – ₹30,000 per month Work

Key Responsibilities
• Read and interpret mechanical and engineering drawings.
• Prepare cost estimates based on engineering drawings and project requirements.
• Calculate the quantity and cost of raw materials required for fabrication.
• Have good practical knowledge of fabrication, welding and machine shop operations.
• Supervise and coordinate daily factory-floor activities and production work.




• Inspect components and materials before assembly to ensure quality.
• Coordinate with workers and manage manpower requirements.
• Maintain records of raw material consumption, production and manpower.
• Monitor fabrication work, assembly, machine maintenance and timely completion of jobs.
• Ensure proper utilisation of materials and minimise wastage.
• Coordinate with the purchase and production teams for smooth operations. QUALIFICATIONS & REQUIREMENTS
• Diploma or B.
Tech in Mechanical Engineering.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in a manufacturing or engineering company.
• Good knowledge of mechanical drawings and their interpretation.
• Practical experience in fabrication, welding, machine shop and assembly work.
• Knowledge of costing, estimation and raw material calculations.
• Basic knowledge of AutoCAD 2D/3D.
• Good problem-solving, analytical and communication skills.
• Ability to manage factory-floor operations and coordinate with workers.
